San Antonio

I talked with a Senior Pastor, named Pastor Bill. He had such a great encouraging word that I think will really bless the youth pastors in San Antonio and the surrounding areas! God Bless.

  I went to my first ATF in 1996 and knew immediately that this was no ordinary teen conference.  God has raised up Ron Luce and Teen Mania ministries for just such a time as this.  Our nation is facing a profound disappointment when they soon discover that no human being can restore hope to the human heart.  That can only be done by God through His Son Jesus Christ.  The Acquire the Fire conference is anointed in a way unlike anything else that I know of and is being used by God to raise up a generation to not just stand in their faith but to fight for it too, something my generation has not done very well.  I believe that God has a special and unique plan for Teen Mania Ministries in the days ahead and that 2009 will be unlike any other year for them.  The best is yet to come as is said.  My prayers are with you all.  God bless.

   I hope that everyone is having a wonderful start to the holiday season. We, here at Teen Mania, are calling and working hard to get the youth in the San Antonio to this event through the hustle and bustle of this holiday season.

     Before the holiday season slips by us and another year begins, I just want to give a little reminder that Jesus is in charge of this world. There is worry and chaos coming about, but we, as Christians, have Jesus Christ as our strong foundation. Even though the economy is slipping and the world is experiencing terror and chaos, let us remember that we know the Savior of mankind and His name is Jesus Christ.

     This thought always motivates me when thinking about the Acquire the Fire in San Antonio. He is the Savior of mankind and the lost teenagers of this generation need to know this man who came into the world as human but to save them from sin.

Best of all, Christmas means a spirit of love, a time when the love of God and the love of our fellow men should prevail over all hatred and bitterness, a time when our thoughts and deeds and the spirit of our lives manifest the presence of God.

Hello to all the San Antonio Youth Pastors!

We have finally got our callers ready and on the phones to help you all get ready and equipped for the event. Our callers are so fabulous. Let me introduce them:

Melody Olivarez: She has grown up in the San Antonio area for 13 years and has attended the Acquire the Fire in the past. She loves the city and is so excited to be working on her home event. Her favorite part is to see all the youth pastors that she has been connecting with at the event. And she loves to hear what is going on in the churches in her local area. Her favorite food is Italian even though she is latino.

Abigail Tostado: Abby has grown in up in a suburb outside of San Antonio and is also excited about working on her home event. She just spent a month in Uganda this past summer working and living with the local people. She loves hearing about great things that the Lord is doing in the churches she calls congregation. Her favorite food is pizza.

Morgan Becker: She is from Austin, Texas and has grown up there for her whole life. She loves to hear testimonies about the youth from the youth pastors that she talks to. It is so great to her when she hears about the events that the youth pastors are doing. Her favorite food is anything Italian!

HOTEL INFORMATION

ATF YOUTH PASTOR CONNECT EVENT
